The IKEA Foundation Switzerland supports:
- Prototypes and product developments
- Product and collection presentations at public exhibitions (national and international)
Areas of support:
- Architecture: architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, urban construction and room planning;
- Design: product design, furniture or lighting design, textile design;
- Arts and crafts: ceramics, jewellery, pottery and glassware, textiles.
Does NOT support, among others:
- Projects, in which there is a strong social or commercial focus
- Individual objects that are planned and/or sold as unique items
- Architectural models, models for the purpose of urban or room planning
Who can apply:
- Max. 32 years old
- Swiss residents or applicants with a proven link with the country (e.g. education).
Funding:
- The Foundation annual budget - CHF 600’000 – is distributed among 50-60 grants.
- Contribution of own funding (in-kind and financial) is expected.
Application: fill out and submit your application form + max. 20-page description of your project to [email protected].
Deadlines: 1 February, 1 June and 1 October (every year)
