The European Research Council (ERC) funds prestigious ground-breaking frontier research projects across all fields of science. An ERC grant is a stepping stone to a successful academic career. Starting and Consolidator Grants target promising scientists who obtained their PhD between 2 to 12 years ago and have excellent scientific achievements (relative to their career stage).

This event will provide participants with comprehensive information on the ERC Starting and Consolidators Grant schemes. Participants will gain a good understanding of the proposal format and evaluation criteria and get hints on how to use this information when planning a future application. The event is open to early and mid-career researchers who are interested in submitting an ERC application in the future.
