In this talk, I will present a computation of the iterated topological Hochschild homology of the finite field with p (prime) elements, based on a spectral sequence of Greenlees. This computation is applied to a detection result for red-shift in iterated algebraic K-theory. These results, from a collaboration with Dundas, extend results by Veen.
