[ Janggen-Pöhn-Stiftung | Doctoral fellowships ]

The purpose of the Janggen-Pöhn-Foundation is to enable young, excellently qualified Swiss researchers with Master’s degree to pursue further academic training in all disciplines, except theology, by awarding fellowships.
In the 75 years of activity of the foundation, the Board of Trustees reviewed 2’906 requests, of which 1’602 applications were approved, amounting to a total of CHF 25.5 million awarded.
Eligibility criteria:

• Hold a Master’s degree.
• Max. 32 years old.
• Swiss nationality.
• Note that the foundation focuses on applicants who are “suitable for an academic career or who can expect excellent academic performance”.
