Leaving academia for industry is stressful for most people in the best of times, often being the first real effort at obtaining employment, or the first outside of research.
Now that we all have experienced the wide-ranging effects of multiple confinements and shutdowns, you may be asking yourself if any new graduates can actually find a good job, now. The answer is a resounding, “YES!” but there are both perspectives and techniques which will help you be more effective while managing your expectations.
