On May 26th Prof. Lyesse Laloui will give a keynote lecture at the international mini symposium CHUBU (IMS-CHUBU) which will take place on May 26-28 in Nagoya, Japan. The lecture is entitled “Analysis of canister movements in an engineered barrier system”. The topics of the symposium cover a wide of new concepts and new developments in soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering in recent years.
