The Mercator Stiftung supports:
- Interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary scientific research
- Doctoral fellowships
- Knowledge transfer
The Foundations supports projects in Switzerland that deal with complex social problems related to the areas of interest of the foundation: environmental issues, youth education and participation, and youth international exchange. The Foundation encourages the collaboration between natural, social sciences and the humanities.
The Foundation does NOT support overhead costs, mobility fellowships, technical innovations and projects close to industry and biotechnology,
Funding: no upper or lower limit (grants of up to CHF 10’000, exceeding CHF 10’000 or exceeding CHF 200’000 can be awarded).
Rolling call: submit at least 9 months before the beginning of the project.
