Do you know that most of the jobs are found nowadays via networking? Do you know that there are valuable tools to enlarge and strengthen your network?
You can learn all about it during the NETWORKING WORKSHOP by Verity Elston:
“In the Right Place, at the Right Time: Exploring and Expanding Your Network to Find Hidden Opportunities and Identify Your Goals”
During this workshop you will learn:
• The nature of a network: its parameters and limits, its objectives
• Who to reach out to first when beginning the search
• The efficient use of online resources, and maintaining an equilibrium with other forms of contact
• How to initiate contact and respect others’ time and knowledge
• How to keep track of how, who and where we explore opportunities
date: Saturday, 28th of February 2015; 13:00 h – 17:00 h
number of participants: 12
costs: 60CHF per person (includes coffee break)
location: EPFL SV building (room to be confirmed)
trainer: Verity Elston. She is the head of the CUSO program in generic skills
