ON, the orthoregeneration network is an independent international foundation in the field of orthopedic tissue regeneration driving the development and understanding of new treatment strategies for the well-being of the patient. It was established in Luzern in 2017 by the Geistlich family and Geistlich Pharma.
The ON Pilot Grant: Innovative techniques for meniscus healing or regeneration is awarded to projects researching innovative techniques and approaches for the improvement of meniscus healing or regeneration. ON Pilot Grants target small but innovative research projects that answer open questions or prove a new concept. Clinical, preclinical or in vitro studies are eligible.
A grant application submitted to the ON Foundation may be submitted in parallel to another funding organization or research grant provider (e.g. company). If so, the submission has to be declared in the application.
Who can apply: researchers based at an academic institution.
Funding & Duration: CHF 25’000 for 24 months.
Eligible costs: personnel costs, research costs, consumables, equipment, travel expenses, clinical and pre-clinical studies, 20% overheads. Please join to your application the EPFL Financial Regulations (EPFL Lex 5.1.1)
Deadline for pre-proposals: 4 September 2019
Deadline for full proposals (upon invitation): 5 November 2019
