On the linearity of A2-tilde-groups

The goal of this talk, based on joint work with Uri Bader and Jean Lécureux, is to explain that a cocompact lattice of an A2-tilde-building admits a linear representation with infinite image only if the ambient building is Bruhat-Tits.
