Particle accelerators have been one of the very important innovation
of the twentieth century. Some of the particle physicists tried to
create accelerators to provide particles at higher energy level,
whereas other scientists tried to use them for other applications.
This talk will discuss about the particle accelerators and some
practical uses of them in different fields like medicine.
