The event is sponsored by the Dean's Office of the Faculty of GSE.  Gender inequality in the world of science remains a striking reality. Picture A Scientist follows the careers of three female researchers - a biologist, a chemist and a geologist - who are confronted with systemic discrimination in the academic world. Harassment, prejudice and institutional obstacles: this documentary highlights the challenges, but also the progress towards a more inclusive and equitable science.
