Practical Course by BIOP : Optimize Your Confocal Imaging

The aim is to teach and demonstrate how to fine-tune the acquisition settings of a confocal microscope to optimize the acquisition in terms of sensitivity, speed, and image quality. The course will be held on-site and is therefore limited to 12 participants. Places will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. In case of high demand, the course will be repeated one week later (Tuesday, January 31^st)
The course is open to everyone from EPFL, and registration is free. However, unjustified late cancellations (less than three working days before the course date) and no show-ups will be charged a fee of CHF 250. It is furthermore expected that participants have already been trained on one of the confocal microscopes of the BIOP and have used it recently
