The talk will focus on the principles by which neurons in neocortical circuits connect to each other. Using two-photon calcium imaging, anatomical labelling and multiple patch clamp recordings in slices, we are investigating how neurons connect to each other with respect to the targets of their anatomical projections and with respect to their in vivo response properties in mouse visual cortex
