Probing reheating with gravitational waves
The reheating stage after inflation can hopefully one day be tested via its gravitational wave signatures. After a brief review on how we can understand reheating semi-quantitatively, I summarize what we know about gravitational wave production from this epoch. In particular, I illustrate how different tools are being employed in order to make predictions for different frequency domains, which may be probed with various types of experiments.
