Conducting research is an integral part of our everyday lives. However, most of us didn’t get straightforward, practical information to some of the more crucial knowledge and skills needed when setting out to do a research project. Because such knowledge is essential for a successful career not only in the academia but also in the public/private sector, project management (PM) training is becoming increasingly important among scientists around the world.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE
Define innovative projects and write successful research proposals
Plan, track and control research projects
Define budgets
Identify and mitigate risks
Define roles and responsibilities in research projects
Establish communication concepts
Apply selected project management methods and tools effectively to their own research projects and/or to other projects they supervise
