The "Promotion of Young Scientists in Eastern Europe" (PROMYS) initiative is aimed at young researchers in Eastern Europe who have studied or worked in Switzerland for at least two years and would like to continue their careers in a new Eastern European member state of the EU.
Eligible applicants will have at least three to five years' research experience after the doctorate with current or planned employment at an institution in one of the following countries: Bulgaria, Estonia, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
A grant includes the researcher's salary (Assistant professor level), a research grant and employees' salaries. The maximum duration of funding is five years for a maximum amount of 625,000 CHF. Approximately eight grants will be awarded.
Applicants are requested to open a proposal in mySNF by August 30th 2015.
