Goodwillie's homotopy functor calculus associates to a functor F a tower (inverse limit system) of n-polynomial approximations, P_nF. These approximations are built out of iterated finite limit constructions. These assemble, for each iteration, to a tower which, under some constraints, has the same limit as the Taylor tower of F. I will talk about the homotopy fibers of these towers which give us another classification of n-homogenous functors as well as implications when F is not homogeneous.
