Recovering information in the main land
I will argue that, if the method of steepest descent in the gravitational path integral is properly used, the information loss paradox is resolved by only considering the classical black hole saddle point. I will prove this in the two-dimensional JT gravity. Thus no islands or other exotic configurations seem to be necessary.
