The Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) is working to improve health by speeding up the development of, and patient access to, innovative medicines, particularly in areas where there is an unmet medical or social need.
The initiative for the 7th call should seek to involve a broader range of partners, inculding mid-sized companies, from different sectors e.g. biomedical imaging, medical information technology, diagnostic and/or animal health industries. Involving the wider community in this way should help to advance the development of new approaches and technologies for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases with high impact on public health.

- A comprehensive 'paediatric preclinical POC platform' to enable clinical molecule development for children with cancer
