Sexual harassment is a persistent barrier to women’s advancement in public and private sectors, including academia. Today, rates of sexual harassment in companies, universities and organisations remain high. In this talk, Dr Marianne Cooper will provide an overview of the problem and discuss the incidence of sexual harassment in work environments, the various forms it can take, and the cultural conditions and norms that can breed and support it. Dr Cooper will then discuss how leaders can identify where this may be happening in their own organisations, and the strategies and steps for addressing it.
