Abstract:
Eawag and EPFL have produced and taught two successful 5 week courses on water treatment and sanitary engineering in 2014.
This session will explain the overall course structure and content and how to conceptualize on-line teaching for a global audience. It will show some examples from the different modules and provide selected feedback from the over 1500 students who have achieved a certificate of accomplishment in 126 different countries.
Short biography:
Dr. Christoph Luethi is a Senior Scientist at Eawag, Department of Water and Sanitation in Developing Countries. Dr. Luethi also teaches the MSc course “Sanitary Engineering in Developing Countries” (ENV-402) at EPFL
