"How to pitch investors"
Abstract
This presentation describes our work in progress to conduct a randomized experiment to predict performance in pitching equity investors in young companies. The study involves the use four elevator pitch competitions to real Northeast Ohio investors for real funds (two have been completed) in which student entrepreneurs are randomly assigned to one of four training treatments or a null category to identify the type of training that enhances performance at pitching investors.
