Title: Combining Math and Sustainability for Teaching
Abstract: In this talk, I demonstrate how one can include sustainability as a prominent part in an advanced math course and teach even additional skills beyond mathematical proficiency. I provide an overview of a course with the title "Mathematics and Sustainability" given during the summer term 2024 at FU Berlin. This includes my motivation, the conception, a sketch of the mathematical content and my conclusions drawn from implementing this course for the first time.
