Abstract
Abstract: As part of the MAKE program, SPOT’s 3D printing lab supports students in their prototyping projects, ranging from small, simple systems to complex interdisciplinary projects. With over 600 new users trained each year, growing demand, and increasingly demanding technical requirements, the goal is to push the boundaries of what “consumer-grade” machines can do. Various use cases will be presented, ranging from FDM printing of high-performance filaments to SLA printing of precision parts.

Bio sketch
As a HES mechanical engineer, I've always had a passion for 3D design and additive manufacturing technologies.
I've worked in R&D (developing a process for metal powders) and in the medical field for over 20 years. At the same time, I run my own design and 3D printing workshop, which provides services for many advanced applications.
