[SERI – Eurostar EUREKA Celtic-Plus | Research Funding]

Event details
Date | 23.04.2018 |
Category | Call for proposal |
Celtic-Plus is the EUREKA Cluster for Collaborative Research in ICT, an industry-driven European research programme for implementing the vision of a Smart Connected World. It covers a broad range of areas in ICT, including communication infrastructures, services, applications and multimedia.
Collaborative Celtic-Plus projects are open to any type of company, universities and research organisations and should include at least 2 partners from 2 different countries. They are close to market and business needs and can be defined bottom-up, i.e. without the need to follow defined programme objectives. They are financed through private and public funding, depending on the national funding rules, of up to 50%. Project consortia need to have at least two different partners from two different EUREKA countries (one EUREKA Member Country and one Member Country or Associated Country). Partners from countries outside EUREKA can also participate in a consortium. Each project participant should contact their national funding agency (for Switzerland SERI) early in the process, to check if the proposal and the consortium would be eligible for funding (depending on national funding rules) and because a national funding application should be submitted in addition to the Celtic Project Proposal.
Funding and duration
Funding amount: not specified, max. 50% of total costs of Swiss partners
Duration: between 18 and 36 months
Deadlines
Submission deadlines: project outline, April 23rd 2018
Application: register on the Celtic-Plus Online proposal tool and use the proposal template; contact SERI’s contact point for national funding application
For more information: please visit the call website, contact SERI or the Research Office
