SNSF Swiss Postdoctoral Fellowships (SPF) 2024 | Information Event

The Research Office organises an Information Event on the SNSF Swiss Postdoctoral Fellowships (SPF) 2024 call via Zoom on Thursday, 26 September 2024 between 11:00 - 12:30.

The SNSF Swiss Postdoctoral Fellowships 2024 (call deadline: 2 December 2024) are for early-career researchers with Switzerland as destination. The scheme is open to all disciplines and topics, and is intended for young researchers who wish to consolidate their scientific training and pursue their academic career in Switzerland. The duration of these fellowships is between 12 and 24 months. The grant includes the postdoctoral fellow’s salary with social security contributions, and project funds not exceeding CHF 24'000 for a two-year grant.

Please find below the eligibility criteria to participate to this call:

• At the time of submission deadline, proposals must be submitted within 8 years after the obtainment of the relevant degree, i.e. the doctoral degree (PhD)2. The relevant date is that of the examination or thesis defence.
• Applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Switzerland for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately prior to the submission deadline.
• Applicants whose applications were rejected in the SNSF Swiss Postdoctoral Fellowships 2023 call may submit a revised application, involving the same host institution, if they have achieved an evaluation score of at least 6.3 out of 9.
