An algorithm for an aircraft autopilot system was developed and optimized. The diploma project consists of the following parts: research, engineering, technology, economy and ecology. In the research part an algorithm was developed to generate the best trajectory for an aircraft to reach a designated altitude within minimum time. The required aerodynamic coefficients were calculated. From the calculated points in the flight area the optimal trajectory of the aircraft was derived. The structural control schemes of the autopilot with different control laws, corresponding to different flight modes on the trajectory of interest, were examined.
In the engineering part a steering control unit (SCU) was designed and the necessary calculations were carried out. The SCU assembly process was developed in the technological part. Indicators of technological design were calculated in order to assess the quality of the SCU.
In the organizational part, the different stages of the research are listed and described. In the economic part, the labor intensity of the research, technological and engineering parts is calculated. Regarding industrial ecology and industrial safety, the dangerous and harmful factors concerning work with a PC were analyzed.
