I will discuss the non-perturbative dynamics of the Standard Model (SM)
after inflation, when it is decoupled from (or weakly coupled to) the
inflationary sector. Current measurements of the SM parameters suggest
that the Higgs potential may become negative at very large energies.
This may trigger Higgs vacuum instability during and/or after inflation.
In the first part of my talk, I will constrain the values of the
Higgs-curvature coupling compatible with vacuum stability. In the second
part, I will analyze the parametric decay of the Higgs after inflation,
as well as the associated production of gravitational waves.
