A new method in neutron imaging called Energy selective neutron imaging is presented, which overcomes the limitations of polychromatic neutron beams and opens an access to the crystallographic structure of polycrystalline materials. It uses cold monochromatic neutron beams to provide radiography (2D) and tomography (3D) quantitative images of transmission changes caused by the neutron Bragg scattering at crystallographic lattice planes.
