BREAST CANCER - KOMEN ANNOUNCES CALL FOR RESEARCH PROPOSALS FOCUSED ON DRUG RESISTANCE & METASTASIS FROM EARLY CAREER INVESTIGATORS
Applications are open to early career investigators working at academic institutions who have held faculty positions for no more than 5 years. Applicants/PIs must propose a mentor committee whose purpose is to provide the research, scientific, clinical, management, and leadership guidance necessary to foster the Applicant/PI’s career advancement.
Submission deadlines: : June 7, 2017, by 1 p.m., Eastern Standard Time (Letter of Intent Due). Full applications are to be submitted by invitation only and are due September 6, 2017, by 1 p.m., Eastern Standard Time
Funding: $450,000 combined direct and indirect costs; ($150,000 per year for up to 3 years)
Duration: Up to 3 years
