The Swiss Cancer League (founded in 1910) is a charitable organization dedicated to cancer prevention, patient-oriented research funding and supporting cancer patients and their loved ones. The Swiss Cancer Research raises funds to promote, support and strengthen research in all areas: basic, clinical, epidemiological, psychosocial and pediatric. It is particularly designed to encourage patient-oriented research and independent from the industry.
Supporting innovative cancer research projects is one of the core tasks of the two partner organisations - the Swiss Cancer League and the Swiss Cancer Research foundation
There are two deadlines set for submitting applications for cancer research funding and bursaries: 1st of February and 1st of August. Online application submission opens 2 months prior to these deadlines.
