Swiss Cardiology Foundation supports research on cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases by granting financial contributions for research projects conducted in Switzerland.
Fields of research eligible for support: atherosclerotic diseases, cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, cerebrovascular diseases, other.
Funding: max. CHF 100’000 for 12 months (renewable, in justified cases, for 1 year). Grants exceeding this amount can be considered for multicentre projects.
Eligible costs:
- salaries (according to SNSF rules), equipment, consumables, travel and other research-related costs.
- Does NOT cover the PI’s salary and overhead costs.
Deadline: 30 June (every year)
Decision: 30 November
