The Swiss Group for Clinical Cancer Research (SAKK) has launched, in collaboration with Celgene GmbH, the SAKK/Celgene Life Grant to support research projects in pancreatic cancer care that aim to improve the quality of life of patients and their relatives.
Eligible projects must be conducted in Switzerland, can be planned or ongoing, and might be even a part of a larger research project/trial.
Projects shall have a patient care related research character and, for example, may include prospective registries and database research, working models, patient care models, new concomitant therapies and/or supportive care, tools to measure the quality of life, etc.
Who can apply: practicing physicians, clinical researchers or professionals in insurance or a patient care institution who conduct their research mainly in Switzerland.
Funding: CHF 20'000.
Deadline: 30 September 2019 (once a year)
Decision: 6-8 weeks after submission
