The laboratory of Prof. Ratmir Derda is develping molecules with new functionalities by generating and screening genetically-encoded libraries of chemicals. In their libraries, every chemical is linked to a bacteriophage that carries a unique genetic tag. The molecules are subsequently used as tools to study fundamental questions in cell growth and differentiation.
