TaNeDS (Take a New Challenge for Drug diScovery) is Daiichi Sankyo's call for projects aiming at generating breakthrough pharmaceutical drugs for human health in one of Daiichi Sankyo's research interests: oncology, pain / neuroscience, cardiovascular and renal diseases, rare diseases, other diseases, cell therapy, technology and related research.
 
Who can apply: partnerships between scientists in Daiichi Sankyo and principal investigators affiliated with universities, research institutions and/or small biotech in the EU, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, Israel and the United States.
 
Type of grants:

• Type A: for projects at target discovery stage or early stage of target/technology validation.
• Type B: for projects at an advanced stage.

• Type A: € (Europe) / $ (US) 50,000 – 75,000 per year, plus overhead
• Type B: € (Europe) / $ (US) 100,000 – 150,000 per year, plus overhead
