[ The European Ceramic Society – Frontier of Research | Short-term mobility funding ]

The European Ceramic Society (ECerS) promotes frontier research in the field of materials, devices and processes related to all the application areas of ceramics. The scope of the competition is to run seed projects for further investigation in the case of positive outcomes resulting from these preliminary activities.
 
The funded research must be conducted in one of ECerS full member countries, but outside the country  in which the applicant is receiving their salary or grant.
 
Who can apply (all conditions below must apply)

• Early stage researchers (max. 3 years from PhD)
• Based at a country affiliated to ECerS (incl. Switzerland)
• Both applicants and supervisors must be members of ECerS or a National Ceramic Society (e.g. SVMT).

• and accommodation, part of consumables and access to facilities. Funding must be directly related to research conducted in the foreign host institution.
• Does NOT cover overheads, equipment and personnel costs.
