The Journal of European Ceramic Society (JECS) Trust supports:

• A: Scientific workshops or events for students/early stage researchers/high school teachers.
  • Eligible costs: hire/use of facilities, consumables/admin costs, travel/subsistence costs for attendees, other. The sum requested can be up to 50% of the total budget.
• B: Visits by individual researchers to other laboratories within Europe for the purposes of learning new techniques or accessing equipment not available in their own laboratories.
  • Eligible costs: use of facilities (max. 500€/month), travel/subsistence costs (50€/day), other (only with full justification). Does NOT cover salaries.

• Applicants must be based at a member country of the European Ceramic Society (ECerS). Switzerland is a full member.
• They must be affiliated to a non-profit organisation (e.g. university, lab).

• Please fill out the applicable application form: A: General Activities : Conferences, workshops, summer-school, etc. or B: Mobility and submit it to the ECerS Trust secretariat ([email protected]).
• Decision: after ~3 months from the closure of the call.   
• The success rate for the last call was almost 60%.
