This is joint work with Jesper M\oller. Two spaces belong to the same Mislin genus set if they share the same localizations at any prime. Belfi and Wilkerson studied the related but weaker notion based on p-completion functors and rationalization. This is our starting point and excuse to define a notion of localization genus for any homotopical localization functor L. I will give a few comments on how one can try to compute localization genus sets based on methods by Dwyer, Kan, and Smith, and provide a few explicit examples, for example when L is a Postnikov section.
