Intercultural approaches in urban teaching methodology
laba is hosting the 2nd workshop on intercultural learning within the project “urban lab +: an international network of urban laboratories”, funded by the Erasmus Mundus Action 3 programme. www.urbanlabplus.eu
The workshop, which will be held in Basel & Lausanne from 10-15 November, focuses on methodology. Urban lab + members from KRVIA, Mumbai, the Università della Calabria, and TU Berlin will participate.
The central public event is the Symposium, to be held at the laba studio, Ackermannshof, St. Johanns-Vorstadt 19-21, 4056 Basel.
Invited professors discuss with urban lab + members how their teaching methodologies respond to the challenges of intercultural exchanges shaping territories and how we prepare students in the built environment disciplines for the tasks they face in today’s globalizing world.
