WHAT TO DO asks the questions of how to operate as a designer, as an architect. Looking back at the "pile" (sometimes seems like the scrap pile), a certain constancy emerges, perhaps lessons (for the forming architectural designer) on what to do, but probably more what not to do. Forty years of STUDIO WORKS. The projects range from the small, through the theoretical, to a few built works (some provocative). After reviewing the "pile", BASEbeijing, our recent efforts at cracking China and cracking other ways of teaching and working will be viewed.
