Observational has reached a golden age, where precision measurements become possible to efficiently constrain cosmological models. I will first review the Tools available for astrophysicists and cosmologists, unveiling the Universe across the whole electromagnetic spectrum and I will then focus on the use of strong and weak gravitational lensing to address the problems posed by the discovery of dark energy and dark matter.
