The Kitagawa lab has made important contributions to our understanding of the mechanisms of centriole assembly in human cells (e.g. Nat Commun, doi: 10.1038/ncomms12567, 2016; EMBO J., doi: 10.15252/embj.201488979, 2014). Professor Kitagawa will describe recent findings of his lab in this realm.
