Albena Yaneva: Spacing and Timing Architecture / Studio Baukunst

We are very pleased to announce a lecture with Albena Yaneva, Monday 6th of November at 17:00 within the framwork of our second year studio, dedicated to topic of time. 

Albena Yaneva is Professor of Architectural Theory and Director of the Manchester Architecture Research Group (MARG) at the Manchester Urban Institute. She holds a DEA from Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales and a PhD from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris (2001). She is also a Visiting Professor at Columbia University, GSAPP. Her research is intrinsically transdisciplinary and crosses the boundaries of science studies, cognitive anthropology, architectural theory and political philosophy. The lecture is titled Spacing and Timing Architecture: A Pragmatist Perspective.
