Aim: The Milton Safenowitz postdoctoral fellowship programme is aimed at encouraging and facilitating promising young scientists to enter the ALS field. Fellows work with a senior mentor and receive extensive exposure to the ALS research community through meetings and presentations. Within the framework of the programme, ALS Association seeks to fund the most promising new scientists that will improve understanding of ALS and/or lead to ways to cure ALS, reduce symptoms, or prevent their expression, or improve the lives of those impacted by this disease. Applications from all scientific disciplines are accepted.
Duration: 2 years
Funding: Up to $150,000
Eligibility: Postdoctoral researchers who have received their highest degree (PhD or MD) within two years of the award start date. There is no citizenship restriction.
