Aim: The following topics are accepting proposals for the Spring 2025 call:
Advancing possible solutions for some of the most challenging problems in information security.
Advancing customer protections in the era of artificial intelligence in digital advertising.
Building the future of AI with AWS Trainium.
Advancing the frontiers of science through transformative ideas.
Duration: 1 year
Funding: Specific to each call (please follow links above) but all follow a similar structure:
Eligibility: Principal Investigator must be full-time faculty member at an accredited academic institution or a permanent researcher at a non-governmental organization. There are no citizenship or geographic restrictions
How to Apply: Applications should be submitted through the online portal here, and proposals should be prepared using the template here.
Application Deadline: 30 April 2025

Duration: 1 year
Funding: Specific to each call (please follow links above) but all follow a similar structure:
- Unrestricted funds: $80,000-$100,000
- AWS promotional credits: $40,000-$70,000
- Training resources, including AWS tutorials and hands-on sessions with Amazon scientists and engineers
