An excursion to random geometry via the Gaussian free field
Seminar in Mathematics
Gaussian free field is a natural model for a random height function appearing in a variety of contexts in mathematical physics and random geometry. In this talk, I aim to discuss how it can be used to approach certain problems and models of statistical physics, shedding a bit of new light on them.
