This presentation gives short overview of nano-satellites based active space debris removal mission―Clean Space One, as well as the progress in angles-only navigation. In particular, the presentation shows his novel solution in handover between relative and absolute navigation during rendezvous using optical camera find an non-cooperative target whose position is not known accurately, the closed form linear covariance tool he established for autonomous rendezvous using angles-only navigation, the on-orbit navigation filter selection as well as his solution for rapid initial relative state determination problem. Basic mathematical foundation and results of the work will be presented as well as next steps for filter improvement and range information generate strategy.
