The 2012 Annual Meeting of the SSBE returns to EPFL on August 27th – 28th, 2012. The meeting brings together academic and corporate researchers throughout Switzerland from diverse fields of Biomedical Engineering. The meeting provides an overview of the current state of Biomedical Engineering in Switzerland and offers an environment for a productive exchange between participants. The meeting will follow our long-standing and successful format, which combines invited lectures by research leaders with short presentations from young scientists. The 2012 annual meeting will focus on novel approaches to biological engineering with sessions on stem cell and tissue engineering, microengineering, and synthetic biology with outstanding speakers.
