In this presentation I will describe the problem of describing wave functions for interacting electronic systems using neural network representations. After briefly introducing the general framework of Neural Quantum States (NQS) and the learning approach used (Variational Monte Carlo), I will discuss several possibilities to parameterize wave function obeying the elementary antisymmetry property of Fermions. In this context, I will present a few open mathematical problems that could be of interest for the audience.
